Third-generation Yukon on GM's GMT900 platform (mechanical twin to Tahoe; upscale styling and the Denali trim differentiate it). 4.8L LY2, 5.3L LMG/LC9, 6.0L L96, 6.2L L94 V8s. Two-mode 5.3L hybrid 2008-2013. 6-speed automatic across most builds.
Watch out: 5.3L V8 AFM lifter failure dominates — same pattern as every GMT900 truck/SUV. $3,000-$5,000 repair when the lifter takes out a cam lobe.
