Genesis's first dedicated EV, on the E-GMP platform shared with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. US lineup: 77.4 kWh battery in single-motor RWD (225 hp, dropped after 2024 in the US) or dual-motor AWD (314 hp Advanced, 429 hp Performance with a Boost button that pushes to 483 hp for ten seconds). 800-volt architecture with 350 kW DC fast charging. Built at Ulsan in Korea. Coupe-styled crossover proportions, lower and shorter than the Ioniq 5 it shares parts with.

Watch out: REAL ISSUE: Shares the E-GMP ICCU failure recall pattern with the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, EV6, and EV9. Verify the ICCU has been physically replaced. Charging-port lock motor failures also documented across the family. Facial-recognition entry and fingerprint-start tech are quirky and depend on regular firmware updates.
