Second-generation Trax on GM's VSS-F platform. Single engine: 1.2L LIH turbocharged inline-three (137 hp / 162 lb-ft) with a 6-speed automatic. FWD only. Larger and lower than the outgoing Trax; positioned below the Trailblazer crossover despite being physically larger.

Watch out: Still too new for a durability verdict. 1.2L turbo-three is new to North America; carbon buildup on intake valves (common to direct-injection turbo-threes) is the expected long-term concern.
