Fourth-generation Equinox on GM's VSS-F platform. 1.5L turbo I4 carries over. Equinox EV is a completely separate vehicle on the Ultium battery platform (288-319 mile EPA range, 213-300 hp depending on trim) and does not share underpinnings with the ICE Equinox.

Watch out: Still too new for a durability verdict on the ICE 4th gen. Watch the carryover 1.5L LYX engine for the valve-seat / oil-consumption history from the 3rd gen. Equinox EV early-build owners report charging-software glitches resolved by OTA updates.
