Chevrolet Corvette C8 (8th Generation)

2020–2026 · C8 · coupe

The C8 is the first mid-engine production Corvette. Stingray runs the 6.2L LT2 V8 (490-495hp). The 2023 Z06 brings the flat-plane-crank 5.5L LT6 (670hp, 8,600 rpm redline). The 2024 E-Ray is the first AWD hybrid Corvette (655hp combined). The 2025 ZR1 runs the twin-turbo LT7 (1,064hp). Tremec 8-speed dual-clutch is the only transmission — no manual.

Watch out: Tremec TR-9080 8-speed DCT clutch slip and rough launches on early 2020-2021 cars — GM TSB 21-NA-093 covers TCM reflash; persistent shudder requires clutch-pack replacement under warranty.
