Unveiled June 2024 as a 2025 model. Built at Spartanburg, SC and Rosslyn, South Africa. Combustion xDrive30 (B48 turbo-4, 48V mild hybrid) and performance M50 xDrive (B58 turbo-6, also 48V). Curved-display BMW Operating System 9 cabin. The full X3 M is reportedly skipping a generation.

Watch out: Too new for a definitive watchout. Early-build owners report iDrive 9 software polish issues more than mechanical concerns. The flat-bottom interior trim has split opinion versus the more conventional G01 cabin.
