M flagship spun off the G15 8 Series. S63B44T4 4.4L twin-turbo V8 — same engine family as the F90 M5. 600 hp base, 617 in Competition. F91 convertible, F92 coupe, F93 Gran Coupe (sedan). M xDrive AWD with RWD mode. Production at Dingolfing began July 2019; ended 2025 with no direct successor announced.

Watch out: S63 V8 carbon buildup on intake valves (direct injection) — walnut blast around 60-70k miles. Electric water pump and cooling components fail across the family. M Drive button preset corruption / iDrive 7 quirks are forum gripes more than mechanical failures.
