More restrained styling after the E65 backlash. iDrive matured into something usable. The N63 twin-turbo V8 debuted in the 750i — and brought its own multi-year reliability saga. F02 is the long-wheelbase variant. The 760Li used the N74 V12. Hybrid ActiveHybrid 7 added late in the run.
Watch out: N63 V8 first-gen — valve stem seals, timing chain guides, fuel injectors, coolant leaks. BMW issued the 'N63 Customer Care Package' to handle the worst of it. Service history with N63 work documented is the price of admission.
