BMW 4 Series F32 (1st Generation)

2014–2020 · F32 · coupe

The F32 4 Series launched for the 2014 model year when BMW split the 3 Series coupe and convertible off into a separate 4 Series line. The family comprises F32 coupe, F33 convertible and F36 Gran Coupe (four-door hatch). Engines include the N20/N26 turbo four, N55 turbo six and later B58 turbo six.

Watch out: N20 timing chain guide wear on earlier (pre-update) units is a well-documented issue. Owner reports of electric water pump failures, oil filter housing gasket leaks and high-pressure fuel pump issues vary by engine; all are routine in the BMW community for this era.
