BMW 3 Series E90 (5th Generation)
2006–2012 · E90 · sedan
The E90 is the last 3 Series with naturally aspirated inline-sixes (N52, N51) and hydraulic-assist steering on most trims. The N54 twin-turbo arrived on the 335i in 2007 and the N55 single-turbo replaced it for 2011. Enthusiasts consider this the last 'real' 3 Series before turbos and electric steering took over.
Watch out: N54 (335i 2007-2010) high-pressure fuel pump and wastegate rattle. Plan for both.
