First Audi to wear the big single-frame grille. 3.2L FSI V6, 4.2L V8, 3.0T supercharged V6 late in run. 5.2L V10 (BXA, derived from Lamborghini Gallardo) in the S6 and the supercar-engined RS6 sedan/Avant globally — RS6 Avant never officially US. C6 LCI in 2009. Allroad and Avant body styles.

Watch out: 3.2L V6 FSI: carbon buildup is the textbook example for the whole industry. Multitronic CVT in some FWD trims: reliability poor on hard use. Pre-LCI MMI 2G is slow and dated. V10 S6: timing chain tensioners on the FSI V10 are documented expensive.
