Clay Block

A clay block is a rubber-faced pad that does the same job as a traditional clay bar — pulling embedded contamination off paint — but you can rinse it and reuse it for years instead of throwing it out the first time you drop it. Reach for one on a full-vehicle decon where a clay bar would get expensive, or any time you want a faster glide on big flat panels like a hood or roof. Use plenty of clay lubricant, work in straight lines, and follow with a finishing polish to clean up the marring.
