Classic Accessories started as a small basement operation in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood where founder Jacob Engelstein manufactured automotive accessories — seat belt pads, steering wheel covers, and novelty items. Over more than three decades the product line expanded from accessories to full car covers, then to RV covers, patio furniture covers, boat covers, and power equipment covers. The company is now headquartered in Kent, Washington and operates as part of the Twin Star Home portfolio. The PolyPRO product line — PolyPRO 1, PolyPRO 3, and PolyPRO Elite — runs from single-layer dust shields to multi-layer outdoor covers and is the brand's primary car-cover offering at mass-market retailers including Amazon, The Home Depot, and Walmart. The PolyPRO 3 series uses a three-layer non-woven polypropylene construction and is positioned as the mid-tier outdoor all-weather cover in the lineup. Classic Accessories covers carry a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects across the PolyPRO line.
